  • Although she did not win _"The X Factor" (2004)_ (qv) in 2008, she did however win the most votes on the sixth week of the live shows gaining 31.30% of all votes cast that evening.
  • On week five of _"The X Factor" (2004)_ (qv) live shows, she was excused from performing due to a severe case of laryngitis. She was planning to sing 'Mariah Carey' (qv)'s "Always Be My Baby" until her doctor strongly advised her not to sing at all as it could cause permanent damage to her vocal chords. She returned to performing the following week singing 'Coldplay' (qv)'s "Yellow" and she subsequently received the most votes cast that evening.
  • She was in a relationship with fellow _"The X Factor" (2004)_ (qv) contestant 'Eoghan Quigg' (qv) for a brief time during the series.
