Native Californian Stacy Ann Ferguson was born to parents Terri and Pat Ferguson. She has one sister, 'Dana Ferguson (I)' (qv), three years younger. Dana is also an actress. Young Stacy got her start in both acting and modeling. Her first break was the voice of Sally in several Charlie Brown specials, as well as the _"The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show" (1983)_ (qv) TV series. A gap-toothed Stacy was only eight when she filmed the _"Kids Incorporated" (1984)_ (qv) pilot, but had her two front teeth when the first season began filming. Stacy Ann Ferguson was born on March 27, 1975 in Whittier, California to parents Terri and Pat Ferguson who were of Irish and Scottish descent. When she was a teenager her parents divorced, that was a big challenge for a girl that wanted to be a star. As a child actress, she appeared on the television program _"Kids Incorporated" (1984)_ (qv) for several years with 'Renee Sands' (qv). Later, Ferguson was a member of the female trio "Wild Orchid" which she fronted with fellow _"Kids Incorporated" (1984)_ (qv) star 'Renee Sands' (qv) and 'Stefanie Ridel' (qv). "Wild Orchid" released two albums, but after completing a third album, their record label declined to release it. This prompted an emotional crisis, and Stacy sought therapy. She left the group shortly thereafter. In 2003, she was invited for a part in 'The Black Eyed Peas' (qv)' song "Hey Mama". The members of the group were so impressed by Stacy's performance that she became the fourth member of the band. Since then, she's mostly known as "Fergie". In September 2004, Fergie met an American actor 'Josh Duhamel' (qv) whom she is currently engaged to. Stacy is extremely successful. According to fans, she's the most popular band member, she's recording her solo album that is due summer 2006. She took part in a Hollywood blockbuster, _Poseidon (2006)_ (qv). Fergie is a favorite singer of 'Quentin Tarantino' (qv) who invited her for a new movie _Grindhouse (2007)_ (qv).

- I started doing Ecstasy. Then I got addicted to crystal methamphetamine. My weight dropped to 90 lb. I lied to my friends and said I was bulimic. Finally I started going crazy. In that moment I talked to God and He said, "I've given you all these gifts, so what are you doing?" I decided to get clean. I told everybody what was wrong.

- Attended the special dinner at Sony Studios in Los Angeles to honour the singer and activist 'Sting (I)' (qv) as MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year.
